AMUR SHIPBUILDING PLANT
JSP

JSC “Amur Shipbuilding Plant” (ASP), the biggest shipyard in the Far Eastern region, was founded in 1936 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
More than 270 vessels and ships have been built by ASP since its foundation, including:
Nuclear submarines - 56
Diesel submarines - 41
Surface warship - 36
Civil vessels of different class and purpose - 137
ASP is a full-profile shipbuilding yard perfectly equipped to perform the tasks relating to the enhancement of the Russian Pacific Fleet fighting efficiency as well as for manufacturing a wide range of marine and general machinery beginning from different tanks and to complex equipment for offshore oil-and-gas areas development. ASP has up-to-date facilities and manufacturing practices for construction of warships and commercial vessels with displacement up to 25, 000 t.  
ASP building berth is situated in a covered slipway and this offers advantages as compared with open slipways of other shipyards: it makes possible all-year-round construction cycle at normal ambient temperature and ensures high operational readiness of ships and vessels.
ASP has its own commissioning site in Bolshoi Kamen used for outfitting of the vessels.
Amur Shipbuilding Plant has earned good reputation in the world market and acquired wide experience in the following activities:
