PRODUCTION AND TECHNOLOGY

JSC “Amur Shipbuilding Plant” is a diversified enterprise with production facilities including preproduction, assembly and welding, electric and wiring, machine-building, metallurgical and painting shops, material and product testing facility, nuclear and radiation safety department and galvanizing site.
ASP has the following facilities:
- Building Berth Facility which consists of covered and heated slipways including 9 dry shipbuilding docks which allows assembly of hulls with length up to 200 m and width up to 19 m. The docks are equipped with vessel handling facilities, scaffolding and 30-100 t cranage, have all types of power supply including the possibility of microclimate generation. In 2006 an open slipway that allows forming of hulls having width up to 23.5 m was designed and put into operation;
- Main and auxiliary shops, administration buildings and storage facilities, a total of 28 buildings;
- Vessel handling railway system and traversing cars allowing to perform handling of structures of 1,600t weight;
- Flooding basin with launching dock;
- Water area with berthing structures, quay and pier equipped with power networks and 10-32t bridge cranes;
- Floating dry dock 10,000t;
- Floating crane 100t;
